Therapeutic Deep Tissue Massage

Hello and welcome! Thanks for checking out my massage page.

I'm a longtime veteran in deep tissue massage, targeting problem areas and providing the maximum of relief and pain management through massage.

Having gotten my start as a volunteer for the AIDS Massage Project in Minneapolis in the early 90s, and formal training at California Healing Arts College in Los Angeles while living there, I've spent many years doing this work and have an understanding of the human body and how it responds to massage. I've maintained a loyal clientele in New York, Paris, Rwanda, and Uganda.

My work is targeted and point-specific, all while listening to the client and their body. I'm strong yet intuitive, and the session is productive but never too uncomfortable. I also rely on my client to communicate openly with me if the pressure is too much. I work with each client's comfort level, and always listen to their needs, catering each session to their current issues that need to be addressed.

I work with anyone, and my massage table is a judgment-free zone. The most common issues vary from chronic stress-related problems due to work and life (being physical from desk-sitting or athletes' issues), to emotional stress from grief and loss. Everyone deserves to feel better.

My schedule is fairly flexible, but the more notice I have, the better. Sessions are held at either my quiet home studio space in Washington Heights in upper Manhattan, in a comfortable yoga space in Harlem, or in a physio's office behind Carnegie Hall around his office hours. I'm also available for home visits if the client has their own table.

I've maintained very reasonable rates to make regular massage maintenance affordable.

The rates are $160 if I travel to you or at one of the aforementioned rented spaces and $120 in my home studio, which is on Bennett Ave. and 192nd St., between Broadway and Fort Tryon Park.
